The first Advisory Board meeting began with a welcome from the Project Coordinator / ERA Chair, followed by introductions of Advisory Board members and the core project team. The meeting highlighted the vision of One Archaeological Science and its relevance to the BEMME region, while clarifying the Advisory Board’s role and expectations.

The project’s structure, work packages, and sustainability plans were reviewed, alongside updates on networking and dissemination activities. Progress on the work packages was presented, and upcoming workshops and initiatives were discussed. The meeting concluded with the Advisory Board offering strategic guidance, feedback on potential risks and mitigation measures, and recommendations for ensuring the project’s long-term sustainability.
